Game-Day Promotions for 2018 Baseball Season All Set

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. — Bark at the Park, Pack Baggett and Marching Band Day are just some of the great promotions scheduled for the 2018 Cal Poly baseball season.

Bring your furry friend with you for a fun day at Baggett Stadium on Sunday, April 29, when the Mustangs host UCLA at 1 o'clock. First 100 dogs in attendance will receive a Cal Poly dog bandana.

Marching Band Day is set for Sunday, March 4. The Cal Poly Pep Band will perform live music throughout the 1 p.m. game against Pacific.

Pack Baggett will be held Friday, March 16, when Cal Poly opens a three-game series against San Diego State. Be the first 3,168 fans to pack the brand new and improved Baggett Stadium for the 6 p.m. game.

Cal Poly also plays the Aztecs on St. Patrick's Day at 6 p.m. and the first 500 fans through the gates will receive a St. Patrick's Day Go Stangs t-shirt.

The Green Out Game is scheduled for Friday, April 20, when the Mustangs host defending Big West Conference champion Long Beach State. The 7 o'clock game will be televised by ESPNU and the first 300 fans in attendance will receive a Mustangs t-shirt.

Special Olympics Day will be held Sunday, April 15, when Cal Poly hosts UC Davis at 1 o'clock.

On Mother's Day, May 13, when Cal Poly hosts UC Irvine at 1 o'clock, the first 250 fans will receive a Cal Poly workout towel.

The home opener against Pacific will be played Friday, March 2, at 6 p.m. and the 2018 Cal Poly baseball poster will be available for free.

Youth Days are scheduled for March 4, March 18, March 24, April 15, April 22, April 29, May 13 and May 20, all 1 o'clock games. Kids 13 and under will be admitted free and can run the bases and get autographs after the games.

Cal Poly plays five midweek games — March 12 versus New Mexico, April 3 against CSU Bakersfield, May 1 versus Santa Clara, May 9 versus San Jose State and May 15 against Pepperdine — and all general admission tickets are $5.
