Cal Poly Divers Compete in Second Day of Bruin Invitational

LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Cal Poly sophomore Elliott Adams and three Mustang women competed on the second day of competition in the Bruin Diving Invitational on Saturday at UCLA's Spieker Aquatics Center.

In the men's preliminary round, Adams compiled a six-dive score of 240.65 points off the three-meter board to advance to the finals and finished 18th with a total 12-dive score of 448.95 points.

In women's one-meter diving, no Mustang divers advanced to the finals. In the preliminaries, Grace Greenwood posted 218.70 total, followed by Sami Mcintyre with 183.50 points and Meaghan O'Meara with 164.15 points.

The Mustang divers will be back in action Sunday with women's platform preliminaries starting at 9:30 a.m. followed by the men's platform diving event.
