February 17, 2012 | Swimming & Diving Cal Poly Moves Up at MPSF Championship LOS ANGELES, California – The Cal Poly women swimmers had a solid performance in day three of the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Swimming Championship. Cal Poly is currently in third place with 342.5 points.

February 15, 2012 | Swimming & Diving Cal Poly Competes at MPSF Championships LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Cal Poly women swimming and diving competed in the first day of the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championships in at Los Angeles City College. The first event was the 200 yard medley relay. Cal Poly did not advance to the finals.
February 14, 2012 | Swimming & Diving Cal Poly to Compete at MPSF Championship SAN LUIS OBISPO, California – The Cal Poly Women Swimming and Diving season wraps up their regular season with a trip to the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Swimming and Diving Championship. The divers will be competing at the US Air Force Academy near Colorado Springs while the swimmers head to East Los Angeles College in Monterey Park.
February 4, 2012 | Swimming & Diving Cal Poly Drops Dual to UCSB SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – Cal Poly swimming and diving teams closed out their 2011-12 dual meet schedule as they came up short in their dual meet against UC Santa Barbara on Saturday. The men lost with a score of 160-129. On the women’s side the final score was 163-124.
January 14, 2012 | Swimming & Diving Cal Poly Dominates UC Santa Cruz SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. – Cal Poly swimmers dominated UC Santa Cruz in the Anderson Aquatic center Saturday afternoon. The Cal Poly women tallied 217 points to UC Santa Cruz’s 63, with the Cal Poly men scoring 214 points to Santa Cruz’s 70.
January 14, 2012 | Swimming & Diving Cal Poly Competes at Stanford Invitational STANFORD, Calif. – The three-day Stanford Diving Invitational continued Saturday afternoon. Divers from Cal Poly faced divers from Stanford, Cal, UCLA, Fresno State and San Jose State.

December 18, 2011 | Swimming & Diving Cal PolyWomen Defeat UC San Diego, Mustang Men Fall LA JOLLA, California – The Cal Poly women defeated the UC San Diego Tritons 185-113 at the Canyonview Aquatic Center on Sunday. The Mustang men fell to the Tritons 214-80. This was the first time the teams have competed since 2007.
December 17, 2011 | Swimming & Diving Cal Poly Swimmers Come Up Short SAN DIEGO, California – Cal Poly women came up short as they faced San Diego State Saturday afternoon at the Aztec Aquaplex. The final score was 147-113.
December 14, 2011 | Swimming & Diving Benefield named MPSF Athlete of the Week SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. -- Cal Poly senior Gloria Benefield (San Diego, CA/La Jolla HS) has been named the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation’s Athlete of the Week.
December 12, 2011 | Swimming & Diving Cal Poly Swimmers Win Finis Collegiate Invitational SOUTH GATE, California -- The 2011 Finis Collegiate Invitational ended Monday with Cal Poly the winners. The women finished in first place with 2760 points. The men also finished in first place with 2317.5 points.
December 11, 2011 | Swimming & Diving Cal Poly Swimmers Dominate at Invitational The 2011 Finis Collegiate Invitational wrapped up Sunday with Cal Poly dominating the three day event. Both men and women finished in first place.
December 10, 2011 | Swimming & Diving Cal Poly Swimmers in the Lead at Invitational SOUTH GATE, California -- The 2011 Finis Collegiate Invitational has Cal Poly men and women in first place after the first two days of competition. The women have amassed 785 points through the first 336 events. The men stand at 606.5 with one more day of competition to go.
December 3, 2011 | Swimming & Diving Cal Poly Swimmers Wrap Up Winter Nationals ATLANTA, Georgia -- The 2011 AT&T Winter National Championships wrapped up Saturday in Atlanta, Georgia. The final day of competition was the busiest of the three for Cal Poly swimmers with seven Mustangs swimming in five events.

November 11, 2011 | Swimming & Diving Mustang Men and Women Lead After First Day of Cal Poly Shootout Cal Poly won 15 of the 16 women’s swimming and diving events en route to a commanding lead after the first of two days of competition in the Cal Poly Shootout on Friday at the Anderson Aquatic Center. The Cal Poly men’s team also is in first place with 262 points.
November 5, 2011 | Swimming & Diving Cal Poly Women Defeat UCSB in Dual Meet, Mustang Men Fall Senior Gloria Benefield won two events and swam a leg on a winning relay team as Cal Poly defeated UC Santa Barbara 177.5 to 117.5 in a women’s dual swimming and diving meet Saturday at the Anderson Aquatic Center. The Mustang men’s team dropped a 167-121 verdict to the visiting Gauchos.
October 29, 2011 | Swimming & Diving Cal Poly Swim/Dive Teams Fall to Denver in Men's and Women's Duals Konrad Antoniuk won three events on the men’s side while Lacey Buck, Gloria Benefield and Angie Haven were double-event winners on the women’s side, but Cal Poly dropped men’s and women’s dual swim meets to Denver on Saturday at the Anderson Aquatic Center. The visiting Pioneers won the men’s meet 171-129 and took the women’s dual 175-112.
October 22, 2011 | Swimming & Diving San Diego State Defeats Cal Poly in Women's Dual Swim Meet, 180-112 Cal Poly won three of the final four events, but fell 180-112 to San Diego State in a modified 16-event dual meet Saturday morning at the Anderson Aquatic Center.
October 21, 2011 | Swimming & Diving Cal Poly Women Swimmers Fall to San Diego State, 168-130 Junior Angie Haven was a double-winner and Cal Poly won seven of the 16 events but fell 168-130 to San Diego State in a non-conference dual swmming and diving meet Friday afternoon at the Anderson Aquatic Center.

September 24, 2011 | Swimming & Diving Cal Tops Cal Poly in Season-Opening Relays The University of California won all four mixed relay events to wrap up a season-opening two-day swim meet at Cal Poly’s Anderson Aquatic Center.
September 23, 2011 | Swimming & Diving Cal Swimmers Sweep King and Queen of the Pool Season Openers at Cal Poly Sophomore Joseph Wasko and junior Angie Haven were Cal Poly’s top finishers in the season-opening King and Queen of the Pool pentathlon between Cal Poly and the University of California on Friday at the Anderson Aquatic Center.
June 2, 2011 | Swimming & Diving Eleven Women's Swimmers Earn MPSF All-Academic Honors Led by distance freestylers Caitlin Lee and Lacey Buck, a total of 11 members of Cal Poly’s women’s swimming and diving team were named to the 2011 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation All-Academic Team on Thursday.

March 26, 2011 | Swimming & Diving Kline Breaks Record in 200 Backstroke at NCAA Finals Cal Poly senior Peter Kline shattered the school record in the 200 backstroke Saturday afternoon, but it still wasn’t good enough to advance to the championship or consolation finals in the NCAA Division I Men’s Swimming and Diving Championships.

March 5, 2011 | Swimming & Diving Kline Sparks Cal Poly on Final Day of Pac-10 Championships Cal Poly senior Peter Kline placed 11th in the 200 backstroke and swam the first leg on the Mustangs’ 400 freestyle relay team which broke a school record on the final day of competition in the Pacific-10 Conference Men's Swimming and Diving Championships on Saturday night at the Belmont Plaza Olympic Pool.
February 26, 2011 | Swimming & Diving Buck Claims 1,650 Freestyle; Cal Poly Third at MPSF Finals Cal Poly shattered two more school records and placed five swimmers in the top eight in the 200 butterfly on Saturday, the final day of competition in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships at the Belmont Plaza Olympic Pool.
