Mustang Insider Cal Poly Football Preview Show to Stream on Tuesday

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. — The Mustang Insider Cal Poly Football Preview Show is set to live stream on Tuesday, broadcasting from 5 to 7 p.m. from ESPN 1280 Studios.

In addition to streaming on ESPN Radio 1280 AM / 101.7 FM, the show will also be video-streamed live on Facebook through the Cal Poly Mustangs page.

Chris Sylvester will host the two-hour show on May 26, segmenting several interviews with Mustang coaches and players! Fans can submit questions for the coaches via the @CalPolyFootball Twitter.

The show, presented by CalPortland, will start with an intro from first-year head coach Beau Baldwin, before segueing into interviews with assistant coaches including offensive coordinator/wide receivers coach Nick Edwards, offensive line/running game coordinator Paul Wulff, defensive coordinator J.C. Sherritt and linebackers coach Josh Letuligasenoa.

In addition, Duy Tran-Sampson and Matt Shotwell will also join the program!

Tran-Sampson earned second-team All-Big Sky Conference accolades as a sophomore running back, when he gained 1,037 yards and eight touchdowns on 235 carries.

Meanwhile, Shotwell was selected for third-team All-BSC honors after his junior year, making 89 tackles and intercepting two passes from his middle linebacker spot.

Tran-Sampson ranked No. 21 nationally in rushing yards per game last fall (94.3), while Shotwell was 22nd in the country in solo tackles (5.2 per game) in 2019.
