Coach Crozier, Lafaix Guests on ESPN Radio's Mustang Insider

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. — Cal Poly head women's soccer coach Alex Crozier and all-regional honoree Camille Lafaix will join Thursday evening's Mustang Insider Show, broadcasting on ESPN Radio 1280 AM/101.7 FM, starting at 5 p.m.

Last fall, Lafaix was selected by the United Soccer Coaches association for All-West Region Third Team accolades as a freshman, making her one of just four total freshmen among the 42 student-athletes on the list.

In addition to looking ahead to the upcoming fall season, which will see a new-look Big West Conference table with the additions of CSU Bakersfield and UC San Diego, Crozier will discuss this stage of virtually-based coaching, while also discussing the Mustangs' incoming recruiting class and key returnees.

Chris Sylvester hosts the twice-weekly, hour-long show running from 5 to 6 p.m. (recorded from ESPN 1280 Studios in San Luis Obispo), bringing Cal Poly fans interviews, news and entertainment from around the Mustang sports world.

Lafaix tallied four goals in her debut season, playing in every match.

En route to a Big West All-Freshman Team award, she also distributed four assists (tied for seventh-most throughout the league), seeing 1,328 minutes altogether in her first year out of the San Jose Earthquakes Development Academy. Cal Poly finished with 11 points (via 3-3-2) in Big West play in 2019, just one spot back of the fourth & final seed to the conference tournament.

Fans are also able to re-listen to all shows after they first air, in a podcast format with the ability to subscribe at THIS LINK, or via HERE.

Upcoming shows will also include segments with additional Mustang head coaches, as well as more interviews with student-athletes and alumni, sponsor spotlights, and more!
